05/22/2009: "New York, New Amsterdam...."
Eric Miller is publisher and co-editor of our sister publication, The New Colonist, which concentrates on sustainable urban development, neighborhood and community, and (especially) sustainable transportation issues. So it's particularly appropriate that he's tooling around NYC (the town formerly known as new Amsterdam) on what looks to be a city bike inspired by the classic Dutch roadster. Here it is parked in the East Village:
