Cut long in back to make it comfortable both for those of us who ride sportier bikes and for aficionados of the Euro style. It's as elegant as a t-shirt can be, with raglan sleeves and a tailored fit that stretches to fit your curves, be they from good genes, diligent workouts, or an appreciation of the table. Wear it hem out or tucked in as you please—you'll always look as good as you feel!
Black or Deep Sage
Nothing breathes better in the heat, nor keeps you cozier in the cold or wet, than merino wool. It does not hold body odor; we have worn ours for several hot-weather rides in a row without it picking up the slightest odor. The black will not show sweat spotting, though the sage will. Both will dry rapidly after getting wet with rain or perspiration.
Our price is competitive with that of the generic sweatshop-produced merino t-shirts available in various outdoorsy stores and websites in the US, but ours are pure New Zealand merino, and sewn in LA in a fair-wage factory in the heart of downtown. They are also designed specifically for on-the-bike comfort as well as all-around good looks. In order to keep the price down, we will sell these from this website only; they will not be sold in retail stores for now.
US standard men's shirt sizes (although these are good for men or women), ie, a "Medium" is 38-40 inches. Fit is tailored, so if you prefer a loose fit, order one size larger.
Dry cleaning works fine, but it is more convenient to hand wash it with Kookburra or equivalent, roll it in a towel to sop up excess water, and then dry flat. It will dry very quickly. The already luxurious feel improves after a couple of washings.
The shirt may shrink slightly after a wash, but will relax when you put it on.
