My post for Flying Pigeon LA continues my extended rant on rogue council member Gil Cedillo and the need to look ahead to the election that's barely On the Horizon today, but that could represent a turning point for LA's District 1.

Meanwhile, on Orange 20's blog, I look at a delightful new pocket park that just opened up along the Ballona Creek bike path, showing that sometimes, We Can Have Nice Things.
