01/10/2008: "Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe"
Saw two charmingly nondescript bikes parked in front of stores while I was out walking from chore to local chore yesterday. Since evidence of people using their bikes for actual transportation, even with the temperature in the forties (F), which is cold for La La Land, I snapped their pictures even though all I had was a fairly crappy cell phone camera.

The first one's a delivery bike for Back Door Café, which is a cute little local bistro on the alley side of a commercial building.

I don't know who owns the cruiser, but more power to them!
