01/18/2007: "Sock it to 'em"
Maybe a little premature, but I may have a line on knicker socks to go with the Classic Wool Knickers. They'll be semi-custom middleweight wool, made to our specifications. Awaiting samples now. Probably a dark gray, to provide an elegant contrast with both the black and the gray knickers. Over-the-knee length gives you a dressier look for office or restaurant, and keeps yer knees warm too--and you can fold it down if it's hot or it feels funny to you.Doing what we can to keep you on your bike, every day!
Keep your eye on us for further developments, including:
- Dressy merino jersey (when I can find the right wool)
- New logo T-shirts (when we design our new logo)
- Some secret hardware bits to make your bike a better commuter without compromising its appearance (I found a high-end metal fabricator less than five miles away!)
- And the eventual gabardine long pants for cycling
Lots going on...it's hard to be patient, but we'll move ahead as we can afford to.
