10/26/2006: "Knicker Progress"
Those of you who have been following the progress of our Updated Classic Wool Knicker Project will be interested to know that I'm leaving the office early today to head downtown and pick up the patterns--after which I have an appointment with a sample maker who might also be able to produce the first (necessarily small) batches of knickers. (And I love riding around downtown, let me tell you!)So we're getting closer to the day when bicycle commuting becomes elegant as well as beneficial!
